When do we collect information?

We collect information from you when you register on our site or fill out a form. You may, however, visit our site anonymously.

Using and disclosing your personal information

Our purpose in collecting information about you is to:

• provide you with a better service experience with content and advertising that is more relevant to your interests; and
• create a business information database for use as part of Clinicbook's online business. Whilst Clinicbook's business information database is designed to operate as a medical clinic directory (not a directory of individuals) it is possible that personal information may become included in the business information database.

Clinicbook will not use or disclose any information about you without your consent, unless:

• the use or disclosure is for one of the purposes described above or otherwise permitted by this policy;
• it is required or permitted by law (including by relevant privacy laws);
• we believe it necessary to provide you with a service which you have requested;
• to protect the rights, property or personal safety of another Clinicbook website user, any member of the public or Clinicbook; or
• any of the assets and/or operations of Clinicbook are being transferred to another party.

If you do not provide requested information, Clinicbook may not be able to provide you with access to or full use of sections of the Clinicbook website.

Clinicbook sends automated service messages pertaining to upcoming or recent clinic reservations, such as confirmations, reminders, and/or invitations to provide clinic feedback. While you cannot unsubscribe from all service messages, you may select not to receive future clinic feedback invitation emails by following the "unsubscribe" instructions provided.

Where you have consented to receive marketing communications from Clinicbook, you may from time to time receive communications relating to special offers and/or Clinicbook clinic recommendations. You may unsubscribe from the Clinicbook email list at any time by following the directions provided in the email communications, by replying to the marketing communications with "Unsubscribe" in the subject line, or by visiting your Profile page and choosing to opt out from receiving marketing communications.

How Clinicbook uses your personal information

Clinicbook will never sell, rent, loan or otherwise distribute any of your personal information (including but not limited to your name, email address, phone number or any other identifiable information about you) to any third party without your prior expressed written consent, although Clinicbook will pass certain information on to clinics at which you make appointments, only as described above.

Clinicbook does use aggregate data (based partly on IP addresses of website visitors) collected through its website to analyze website usability, system performance and usage trends. While this data, in its aggregate form only, may be shared with third parties with whom Clinicbook works to analyze it, the data will only be shared under the strictest terms of confidentiality and will never contain any personally identifiable information pertaining to any user of the Clinicbook Websites.
